I would thoroughly recommend DLG Academy! My son was in need for some teacher and pupil contact during lockdown and I did not hesitate in starting him with Sisi. This took a bit of the pressure off myself and meant my son got the focused and structured attention he needed. I have kept him on with Sisi as he enjoys the lessons, he is covering a lot of work, which is a school year ahead, and stays motivated to learn! Sisi also encouraged him to read with some helpful tips and he has now gone up a few book levels in less than two months! My son is one of the youngest children in his year group. He started tuition with Sisi when he was in Year 3, then moved on to join the 11+ Foundation Course when he was in Year 4 and finally the 11+ Preparation Course in Year 5. Sisi was quick to identify educational gaps in his learning and fill them. Within a matter of months, we moved up to the top ability set in school for both English and Maths and became a free reader. He not only was successful in the 11+ (with very high scores too), but he was also successful in the entrance exams for one of the best independent schools in the country! My husband and I were shocked and delighted to see him succeeding in such competitive exams for a school currently in the top 10 list of independent schools in the country! Sisi has helped our son work independently and motivate himself. All great qualities, which we will be proud to see him take on to secondary school.

Sisi's tutoring was instrumental in helping my daughter pass her 11+ exam. Her diligent and thorough approach meant that no topic was overlooked, giving my child the confidence she needed to succeed. When we started with Sisi, she quickly spotted gaps in my daughter's learning which she helped her to focus on. My daughter Anaya started tuition with Sisi when she was in Year 3. Anaya was lagging behind especially in Maths. However, with Sisi's guidance and expertise, providing all the support and practice in the areas required, Anaya soon picked up speed. I decided to enrol Anaya into Sisi's 11 plus programme in Year 4, as the class sizes were small, which meant more one to one attention given to my daughter. Anaya has learned a range of very good mental and analytical skills whilst studying with Sisi. As parents we were very pleased with the support we were receiving and the comprehensive feedback always helped as well as the ongoing testing. Anaya passed her 11 plus with flying colours, this is down to her hard work, dedication and the good support given by Sisi, not to forget all the support her family were giving her too.

Amazing quality tuition! Sisi’s tuition has been key to not only keeping my daughters’ learning on track - and more - during lockdown (while my husband and I try to work full time!), but also in discovering and filling in a number of gaps in their learning of which we were previously unaware. We found her support so beneficial, and the girls enjoyed her lessons so much, that we decided to keep on with the tuition even when schools opened up again.
